LRAPA Invites the Public to Attend a Virtual Information Session on the Kingsford Permit Renewal Adjustments. 

Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA) is holding a virtual public information meeting on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. to share information on Springfield’s Kingsford plant renewal permit and proposed adjustments to the permit.

Attendees will hear a description of Kingsford’s production processes and gain technical insight from LRAPA’s Environmental Engineer overseeing the permit.  Attendees will also receive information about the methods and safety measures used to regulate Kingsford and have an opportunity for their informal questions answered.

This is not a formal public hearing.  There is a draft air quality permit currently out for public comment.
